Felipe Gurascier
I understand the challenges students face at New York’s elite secondary schools because I made that same journey on my way from Collegiate School to Princeton University. I know what students at these schools can expect from their classes and how they can set themselves up to excel. I am based in NYC but am available everywhere to students of all ages.
My first love in teaching is Latin, particularly the works of Vergil and Catullus, but it has grown into a passion for tutoring Writing, Spanish, Math, and standardized tests as well. Many of my students work with me on multiple subjects, and I feel this versatility not only is convenient for parents who might otherwise need to find several different tutors, but it also leads to stronger working relationships. Families are able to rely on me for guidance through almost any challenge their children face in their education.
As a private tutor with over 14 years of experience, I have worked with hundreds of students from New York’s most prestigious private schools to help them achieve their academic goals. Watching their confidence blossom as their skills develop is the most rewarding part of my work. With encouragement and guidance tailored to their needs, I believe that any student can succeed.
